Did you know that if you came across someone overdosing and you didn't have a Naloxone kit that you could potentially still save their life by simply breathing for them?  1 breath every 5 seconds is what is suggested and this step is pertinent even if Naloxone is being administered.  It's important to remember that even though a person is "breathing" they aren't getting enough oxygen which is why it is important to give breaths.  Check out Toward the Heart for more information

S - Stimulate (Unresponsive?  Call 911)
A - Airway (Check and open)
V - Ventilate (Breath every 5 seconds)
E - Evaluate (Breathing?)
M - Medication (1 vial of Naloxone)
